Shaun Singh (born 1987) is an engineer and the Managing Director of Eraa (UK) Ltd, a Lancashire-based engineering and brand holding company. He oversees a portfolio of brands across architectural ironmongery, security hardware, lifestyle goods, and consumer products, supported by the group’s wholly owned manufacturing facility Abacus Metals in Jaipur, India.
Shaun holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Loughborough University and is a member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, currently pursuing Chartered Engineer status. Born in Jaipur and raised in Lancashire, he was exposed to engineering and the family business from an early age through Eraa, the company founded by his parents Ravindra and Padmini Singh in 1987.
Shaun’s early career included a year in automotive computer-aided engineering at Meridian Technologies, conducting finite element analysis on structural components for vehicle programmes at McLaren, Ferrari, Jaguar Land Rover, Volvo, and SAIC. He subsequently joined Vital Energi, where he led the launch of the vPro energy management system and held the role of Heat Metering & Billing Manager.
In 2012, Shaun founded Litra and went on to launch Loxta Hardware in 2014. Litra and Eraa (UK) Ltd merged in 2020, with Shaun taking on the Managing Director role for the wider group. In January 2025, Loxta’s STEALTH Commander achieved Sold Secure Silver certification, establishing it as one of the most secure door handles available in the UK market.
He works across both ends of an organisation, from board-level strategy through to direct engagement with shop-floor manufacturing teams, a range developed across automotive, renewable energy, and his current portfolio of brands.
